About the Act:
The look and sound of the harp can add an element of beauty and elegance to any event. With over fifteen years of experience performing for weddings and other events, I can provide repertoire from a breadth of musical genres. Whether you want classical harp solos or folk tunes, jazz standards or pop songs, I am happy to design a programme to suit your requirements. Even if a specific song isn’t in my repertoire list, I may be able to arrange it especially for you! I am very flexible with venues: for a smaller, more intimate venue I can bring a clarsach (smaller lever harp.) If a venue is particularly large or an event especially busy, I can also use amplification if required. My work has taken me to many beautiful wedding venues across the North of England, and I always appreciates being able to contribute to special events.
Since graduating for the prestigious Royal Northern College of Music with a Masters degree in Performance, I have enjoyed a varied career as a freelance professional harpist. It allows me to explore a breadth of musical genres in a variety of settings and ensembles, and I have performed across the UK in several concert series and competitions. As a soloist, I have played in masterclasses for esteemed harpists such as Sivan Magen, Maria Luisa Rayan, Marie-Pierre Langlamet and Caroline Lizotte.
